David John Hughes, Jr.

May 27, 1984 - September 3, 2019

Hughes, David John Jr., 35, of Arvada CO, passed away unexpectedly on 9/3/2019. David was a loving husband and father. Spending time with his wife and kids was one of his favorite things to do. They have cherished memories of many family vacations at Disney World. David was an avid outdoor enthusiast, snowboarder, and climber of 14ers. He also loved watching Marvel movies. He was a business account executive at Comcast Business.

David is survived by his wife, Amy (Arvada) and their children Joshua, Aubrey, Jay and Johnny. He is also survived by his parents, Dave and Grace Hughes (Arvada), his sister Cheri (Bradley) Shively, and many other loving family members and friends.

To say David will be missed is an understatement. His family adored him, his friends treasured him, and to know him was to love him.

    Dave-
It’s been an incredible two years working with you. In that time we became friends. We were able to share our love for our families and our faith. I know you are with God now.

Rest easy brother. See you in God’s Kingdom one day.

  3. David John Hughes Sr says:

    David,

It has been a privilege to watch you grow into a mighty man and to see you excel at everything you did.

We prayed together, grew together, learned together, worked together, laughed together, and cried together.

I saw you marry your sweetheart, see your babies come into this world and even now watch them grow into mighty men themselves and the loveliest of all daughters.

You’ve done well in such a short, short, way too short time.

I will miss you as long as I live. And I yearn for the day that I meet up with you again on heaven’s shore.

Rest in God’s peace my dear son, be in His peace.

    -Dad

  4. Rick and Sue Lohmiller says:

Sue and I send you our deepest sympathy. We pray that the wonderful memories of a father and husband will soon fill the emptiness left by his absence. May the love of family and friends help you through these difficult days. May you find peace in the words of comfort found in God’s Word. Job in his difficult times after losing family and possessions proclaimed, ” I know that my Redeemer lives” May you rest in your Redeemer’s loving arms.
