He was the part-owner of B&R Industries in Piscataway, N.J. and long-time member of the Saenger Halle and Schlaraffen German Clubs in North Plainfield, N.J. before retiring to Bailey. Harald is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 57 years, Erika Peters; sister, Inge Zant of Spring Hill, Fla.; brother, Manfred Peters of Gettorf, Germany; sons: Harald Peters, Jr. and wife Donna of Bloomsbury, N.J., and Holger Peters and wife Patti of Lakewood, Colo.; four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Carolyn and I will always remember Harry for his generous character and always interested attitude. He had a talent for leading you towards a better idea which I always found very helpful. It was this positive nature Harry practiced showing us all the way.
We wish our deepest condolences to Erica and the family.
