Age 82, of Evergreen, Colorado, formerly of Crystal River, Florida, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services and interment will take place on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

Marjorie was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on October 12, 1936 to Raymond Fowler and Pauline (Robbins) Causby.  

She married Raymond Wise in Miami, Florida, on March 25, 1961.

Marjorie graduated high school in 1955 in Miami and graduated in 1994 from Lake Sumter State College with an AS degree in business and finance.  She was employed as Payroll Supervisor for Golden Jem Grower in Umatilla, Florida, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service.  She was a member of the Grand Island Baptist Church, Grand Island, Florida.

Marjorie was a Brownie, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader when her children were younger.  She was also an Awana leader with her church and was always volunteering with children’s charities.  Marjorie enjoyed fishing, sewing, growing orchids, care-giving and bowling.  Her family and children were her pride and joy – both hers and, in general, volunteering in the community at the library reading to children.

Those who cherish Marjoie include: husband, Raymond; children, Brenda (Sean) Mays of Berat, Albania, Mark (Selena) Wise of Crystal River, Florida and James (Scarlett) Wise of Evergreen, Colorado; grandchildren, Megan (Kristofer) Hendrickson, Moriah (Michael) Smith and Sage Wise; great-granddaughters, Viviana Hendrickson and Ophelia Smith; siblings, Raymond Fowler of Tennessee, David Causby of Georgia, Albert Causby of Texas, Pasty Pressly of Tennessee; in-laws, Charlotte Teems of Florida, Linda (Greg) Blake of Georgia and Carl Wise of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pauline; sisters, Yvonne Benner, Wiladean Bell; brothers, Charles Fowler, Kenneth Fowler and brother-in-law, Marshall Teems.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Mount Evans Home Health and Hospice (3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439), Easter Seals or donor’s choice in Margie’s name.

    Nice lady . I only met her a few times , but I know her sons and since she raised them all the way to adulthood it should be grounds to canonize her . God bless Margie and all her family
