Rosa Lee (Rosie) Ruther

May 29, 1939 - October 29, 2020

Rosa Lee (Rosie) Ruther, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2020 surrounded by her family in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Rosie was born in Bakersfield, CA to Robert and Thelma Turner as the third of six children.  She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings – Ilene (and Scotty) Scott, Bobbie (and Darlene) Turner, Ronnie (and Bobbie) Turner, Adrian (and Flo) Turner, Linda (and Rex) Davis – and three nephews.  Rosie excelled in school and loved going to baseball games.  Rosie skipped her senior year of high school and went to college at Point Loma Nazarene University where she graduated with a degree in Education.

During college she met Jack Ruther.  They married after Rosie graduated and moved to Colorado.  Rosie began teaching first and third grade.  She loved the kids in her classroom and won numerous awards as a teacher.  Once she started having a family, she transitioned to taking care for her family full time.

Her young daughters caught lots of colds and Rosie didn’t have much energy.  A friend at church introduced her to Shaklee products.  After she started taking the vitamins and also gave them to her daughters, everyone started to feel better and get well.  A lifelong passion for health, nutrition and helping other people was born!  For the next 50 years, Rosie shared her love of Shaklee with everyone she met.  She dearly loved her Shaklee family.

Rosie is survived by her children: Sandi Ruther, Patsy (and Harry) DiDomenico, and her grandson Nick DiDomenico (who was the apple of her eye!).  She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

RIP Miss Rosie. Surely, guardian angel to your beloved family and all who adore you. You have helped countless others in taking charge of their health for the better in sharing Shaklee in the true Dr. SHAKLEE Philosophy manner.

    So sorry for your loss.
I always had a good time seeing Rose. It was either at a Shaklee Meeting or coming through my line at Home Depot. It was always good to touch base. Blessings Janiece Gallup
