He was the youngest of 8 children born to John and Jessie Rossman. He graduated from Goodrich High School in Michigan, and completed coursework through Baker Business University and Michigan State College. Over the years he worked in a variety of professions. He started as a youngster delivering produce to neighbors, eventually owning Augusta Foodtown (MI), Earl’s Market (CO), and other grocery stores. He was most passionate about his role as “Santa.” He enjoyed politics, and even served as the mayor of Augusta, Michigan. He loved traveling in his RV and treasured time in his garden. He was looking forward to a reunion with his daughter (Susan), his parents, siblings, and friends who passed before him.

So glad he was able to come to Michigan for our Family Reunion in August 2015. Drove that RV from California to Florida and up to Michigan. He met family and friends from the old days. He had a great time seeing old friends. Now he can visit those who have passed and gone to Heaven. God Bless Uncle Earl.
