Adajane Lina Knoll

Adajane Lina "AJ" Knoll (Hendryx), age 87, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, in Evergreen, Colorado. Born on February 8, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, she spent her life surrounded by the natural beauty of her beloved home state. 

AJ graduated from East High School in Aurora with the Class of 1956 and later attended Loretto Heights College. Her love for learning and the outdoors shaped much of her life. A passionate horsewoman and dedicated dog trainer, AJ found deep fulfillment working with animals and exploring the open trails of Colorado. 

She shared 64 years of marriage with her husband, Perry Knoll. Together they raised two children: John Knoll (Colleen), and Joelyn Knoll-Brown (Dave). AJ was a proud grandmother to Traci Knoll, Scott Knoll, and Wes Knoll. 

She is also remembered by her brother, Rash Hendryx and numerous other lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Hendryx. A celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2025, at the Stransky Ranch. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched through her devotion to animals and the natural world. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
