Bradley Jay Anderson

August 25, 1952 — June 24, 2024

Bradley Jay Anderson of Erie, CO passed away peacefully in Westminster, CO on June 24, 2024. He suffered in silence with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). Brad was born on August 25, 1952, and was 71 years old.

 Brad is lovingly remembered by his wife, Patty Anderson, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage this past January. He is also cherished by his sister, Nancy Anderson, and her husband, Wes Hinds, his brother, Glen Anderson, and his wife, Elizabeth Anderson. He is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Brad was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Ruth Anderson of Arvada.

 In his teens, Brad worked at the Caribou Guest Dude Ranch in Nederland, CO in the early 1970’s, where he saddled horses and more. He went on to work as an electrician for over 40 years with Xcel Energy. Brad was an active member of the Arvada Center Choral, singing bass in the early 2000’s. He was a competitive water skier, competing at several local tournaments as well as nationally. He coached the NCAA water ski team at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Additionally, Brad was a private pilot who flew his own plane.

 Brad co-founded and helped develop Lakeview Village Water Ski Club in 1988. He had a passion for teaching others to ski and took great pride in the water ski community.

 Brad enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes with his buddies, snow skiing, scuba diving, and camping. He had an enormous heart, deep faith, and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, brave, and loved life and his hobbies.

Brad will be remembered for the love and joy he shared with his family and friends.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
