Charles "Chuck" W. Graeber

November 7, 1943 — November 1, 2024

Littleton, Colorado

Charles Walter Graeber (better known to all of us as “Chuck”) passed away peacefully early on the morning of November 1 in Littleton, CO. He was 80 years old.

Chuck was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on November 7, 1943. He grew up there, graduating from Sheridan High School and Sheridan Community College before getting his degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming. Following graduation, he joined the public accounting firm of PriceWaterhouse in Denver where he met his future wife, Suzette. After they married in the summer of 1977, Chuck left public accounting for the private sector. He served as a controller for several oil companies in downtown Denver until the energy business fell on hard times. He was resourceful and started a commercial screen printing and embroidery business with Suzette. Chuck finished out his career working as a controller for Ludvik Electric where he retired in 2013.

When Chuck and Suzette got married, they made their home in Evergreen, CO where they built a family through adoption. Their first son, Fielding was born in 1983 and their second son, Forrest was born in 1988. They moved to Littleton in 1991 where the boys went to school and grew up.

Chuck was a man known for his wit and dry humor, kind heart, and generous spirit. He built a life centered around family and hard work. He made sure he attended all the boys’ sports and school activities and was their biggest cheerleader. He also taught them how to play sports, how to fish and work on cars. He enjoyed building memories with the family during many camping trips and other vacations. He loved sports of all kinds and always made sure to keep up with the local teams. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and was patient and good at teaching Suzette the game. In recent years his favorite hobby was building model rockets for his grandkids.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 47 years, Suzette, his children and extended family; Fielding, his wife Kara, their children Joseph (16) and Addison (15); Forrest, his children Keygan(14) and Braven(13).
