Douglas James Scheick, age 70, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 18, 2025, at 9:35 PM, surrounded by many loving family and a dear friend, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 29, 1954 in Monroe Michigan, Doug was born with a spirit as strong as the mountains he called home. Doug dedicated the majority of his working career to Coors Brewery as a respected logistics manager. He possessed a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, most notably his family, fishing, and the open road on his Harley-Davidson. A lifelong football enthusiast, he passionately cheered for both the Denver Broncos and his beloved Detroit Lions. And, in years past, he found simple joy in an ice-cold "silver bullet." In recent years, Doug found immense joy in reconnecting with his children, whom he adored. His love for his wife, Cheree, which all started in her rear view mirror on May the sixth 1988, was a profound and enduring bond that spanned 1,161,440,234 seconds, 19,357,337 minutes, 322,622 hours, 13443 days which was 36 years 9 months and 12 days a testament to a love that knew no bounds. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Gayle (Larrow) Scheick, and his sister, Mary. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by his devoted wife, Cheree; his daughter, Morian Grady, her husband, Bryan, and their son, Callan; his son, Fielding Graeber, his wife, Kara, and their children, Joseph and Addison; his six living siblings, Karen, Chris, Phil, Joe, Tim, and Peggy; his step-siblings, Dennis, Michelle, Maggie, and Ronnie; and countless nieces and nephews, all of whom held him dear. Doug's warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever remain in our hearts
