Preceded by Florence and Matthew Eastburg (Parents) and Bruce Richard Eastburg (Brother). Survived by brothers Paul (Alison) and Daryl (Christine),
three nieces Paige, Erica, Sara (Nathan), nephew, Jerret (Holly), 13 grand nieces and nephews, and special friend, Patrica.
Grant grew up in Glenwood, MN, graduated Glenwood High School.
Grant dealt with inherited polycystic kidney disease and its consequences with determination and grit,
including a successful kidney transplant in 2010. He lived with passion and courage, enjoying his many hobbies (music, motorcycles, carpentry, gardening, dogs, birds and history) and extensive travel, while taking good care of himself and those around him. He was always ready for the next adventure.
After retirement from Ratheon, he treasured living near Como, Colorado at 9700 feet, surrounded by nature that he cherished.
Grant was a loving and devoted brother who shared many wonderful times with his brothers, Paul and Daryl, and their spouses.
He was the travel planner, maintaining detailed spreadsheet itineraries.
Grant cherished family. When a need arose, he was ready to provide any kind of support.
He remembered all holidays, birthdays, and special events with cards and attendance when possible.
Grant cultivated deep friendships. He was loyal, kind, generous, and attentive.
When Grant was counted among your friends, you were truly blessed. He will be profoundly missed.
In 2023, celebrations of life will be held near Como, Colorado, and Glenwood, Minnesota.
