Jordan Renee Saunders

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Jordan Renee Saunders, who left us too soon on January 2nd, at the age of 30.

 Jordan was born on February 5th, 1994 in Denver, CO and adopted by Bev and Rick Saunders. She was a vibrant and cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She graduated from Golden High School and went on to graduate from Ft Lewis College with a degree in hospitality before becoming a food and beverage manager at several hotels and restaurants around Denver.

 She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her kind heart, and her unwavering spirit. She had a passion for her pets, sports, friends and enjoying Qdoba and found joy in traveling, going to Rockies games in the summer and loving her sweet nephews. She touched the lives of many with her wild and free soul, generosity, and creativity. 

 Jordan could always be counted on for trying new things and was fearless in her pursuit of experiencing life and sharing joy with those around her. She loved her sister, Gina like a twin and was the best auntie ever. 

 Jordan is survived by her mother Bev, sister Gina, brother-in-law Levi, Nephews Zane and Emmitt, dogs Arthur and Stanley, cat Lucy, many loving cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of loving friends. She was preceded in death by her dad Rick, grandfather Bud, and her grandmothers Helen and Rita.

 A memorial service to celebrate Jordan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 2pm at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Denver Dumb Friends League in Jordan’s memory.

 She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
