Larry E. Rouse

Larry Edward Rouse, 77 years old of Bailey, Colorado, died at  home with family by his side on Wednesday March 6, 2024. He was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on May 26, 1946 to Gloria and Jerry Johnson, with four siblings, Fred, Sarah, Donald, and Ronnie Rouse. His family lived and worked on the farm in Roseville, Pennsylvania. He then moved with his family from Pennsylvania to Colorado in 1961 and graduated from Lincoln High School in Denver, Colorado. He went on to work with Albertsons, Uhaul, and drove a semi-truck  for more than thirty five years. He was a truck driver at heart.

Larry Rouse was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Jerry Johnson, his brothers Donald and Fred Rouse and grandson Devon Rouse. He is survived by two siblings Sarah Everett and Ronnie Rouse and his wife, Mary Ione Rouse, six children, David and Jenifer Rouse, Thomas and Angela Rouse, Pamela Swift, Trevor and Molly Rouse, Cordell Rouse, Landon Rouse and three stepsons Gene Jones, Steven and Kelly Jones and Mikeal and Marisa Jones, twenty five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. 

A memorial will be held on Friday March 22nd at 12:00 pm at the Evergreen Memorial Park 26624 N. Turkey Creek Road, Evergreen, CO 80439. Burial and Reception immediately following service.
