Linda Rose Waldvogle, 74, of Conifer, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 1 st , 2022. Linda spent her last few years being skillfully cared for at Arbor View Senior Community in Arvada, CO.

Linda, the daughter of the late Jerry and Verna Eckert is survived by her brothers, Alvin and Dale Eckert; her husband, Mike Waldvogle; her children, Shelly Wheeler, Dwayne Colly, Nathan Waldvogle and Dan Waldvogle. She is predeceased by her brothers Gary and John Eckert; and sister, Marilyn Schatz. Linda cherished her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Linda was born on April 2nd, 1947 in Kane, Pennsylvania. She grew up in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania where she attended Catholic School and helped raise her younger brothers and sister while her parents, Jerry and Verna, worked to make a living running jewelry stores in both St. Mary’s and a nearby Ridgeway. She loved her life in Colorado where she lived for nearly five decades with her loving partner and husband, Mike Waldvogle.

As an amazing caregiver, Linda found great joy helping anyone in need, especially in a time of illness. She devoted her life to family and serving others and found deep fulfillment in entertaining and visiting friends and family. She relished camping, riding horses and exploring on her little motorcycle with her boys. She made her family vacations back East and across Colorado memorable and fun.

Always the person who “lit up the room” with her beauty and personality, Linda cared deeply for family and friends. She would insist that you join her in her joyful fellowship with Christ and other believers for eternity.
