Michael James White

II Timothey 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.”

Michael James White was born to Pat and James White on March 18, 1951, in Oklahoma City. Mike went home to live with Jesus on August 16, 2024, while visiting his favorite place…. the mountains of Colorado. Mike 

was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City. Mike married his high school sweetheart, Geletta Irvine White.

 Mike spent most of his working career as a truck driver for Fleming 

Foods where he worked for 32 years. He then went on to drive all over the country as an independent driver. Mike loved golf, riding motorcycles, watching John Wayne movies, horses, and cooking. 

His latest hobby was making things in welding. Also, Mike was an avid 

Sooner fan and loved watching OU football. But most of all, Mike 

loved his family, his church, his friends, and his God.

He has two daughters: Jana Marchant Sydnes, who lives with Jesus, and Mindi Cleburn. His grandchildren are Hayden Marchant, Tyler Marchant, Kaiser Cleburn, and Olivia Cleburn. 

His brothers are David White and Jerry White with many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Mike’s greatest wish was that his 

personal walk with the Lord might be someone else’s roadmap.
