Paula Pattschull, age 75, of Evergreen, Colorado, passed away on March 22, 2024. She was born on January 16, 1949, in Mason City, Iowa.
Paula was a dedicated Learning Disabilities Specialist in Denver and Evergreen. Her passion for teaching and helping students with disabilities was a rich part of her work. She also authored a study book on Latin roots to support other educators in assisting students with learning challenges.
She was a vibrant member of her community and actively participated in places of worship, including the First Congregational Church of Mason City, Iowa, First Unitarian Church of Denver, and Mountain Light Unity Church of Evergreen. Her Tai Chi practice helped her to stay balanced and connected to the community.
Paula's love for learning extended beyond her career, as she pursued higher education at the University of Iowa, University of Northern Colorado, and University of Denver.
In her free time, Paula enjoyed activities like backpacking, swimming, cross-country skiing, and camping with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She held a deep devotion to the well-being of earth and nature. Her home baked holiday treats were celebrated along with her flair for color-coordinating her wardrobe and accessorizing for every season. Paula was an accomplished musician on the piano, flute and piccolo.
Paula will be dearly missed by her husband Kenneth Ray Rosevear, stepchildren Thomas Rosevear and Sharron Brand, step-grandchildren Richard, Andrew, and Jacob Rosevear, and step-great-grandchildren Jerek and Killian Rosevear. She was preceded in death by her father Lowell Pattschull and Mother Marjorie Bywater-Pattschull.
