William Gene Collins

William Gene “Bill” Collins, 81, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on September 18th, 2023. Bill was born February 28th, 1942 in Central Lakes, Michigan. On September 4th, 1959, Bill joined the United States Air Force. He served a term of four years, with one year overseas in Saudi Arabia. He was honorably discharged September 3rd, 1963. Bill was a Long Haul Truck Driver for the better part of his life. He also was a Warehouse Foreman for Zellerbach and Daltile. He retired shortly after but enjoyed taking side jobs as a home repairman with son, Brian. Bill loved motorcycle riding, dirt biking, watching Nascar, and showing up for grandchildrens sporting events. He cherished family dinners. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Collins and Liddia Collins, and his brother, James A. Collins Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy McMorrine of Englewood, Colorado and grandchildren, Kristal Hill, Jennifer Griffin, Steven McMorrine, his son, Shawn Collins of Hot Springs, Arkansas and granddaughter, Hillary Williams, his son, Brian Collins of Aurora, Colorado and granddaughters, Chasey Leitz, Breckin Collins, Shylin Collins, his son, Steve Collins of Parker, Colorado and grandchildren, Uriah Collins, Jace Collins, Brielle Collins, his sister, Betty DuPont of Parker, Colorado and nieces and nephews, Mike DuPont, Charles DuPont, Nancy Collins-Marsh, Lynn Cahill, Jimmy Collins and many great grandchildren.
