A life ended too soon, William Mark Sewell, known to everyone as Mark, was born on April 26, 1955, in Hobbs, NM and passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 69, at his home (which he and his wife, Kris, built and LOVED) in Conifer, CO. He was born to Patricia A. Watts and Allie J. Sewell, and is survived by his loving wife, Kristin ‘Kris‘, his children: Melissa Barrios (Sewell), Abraham Sewell and Marcus (Trista) Sewell, and his grandchildren: Zane Barrios, Skylar & Lilah Sewell, McKayla Lutes, and Leah & Layne Vollmer. He lived most of his life in New Mexico and Texas but in 1999 he moved to Colorado, the place he had always dreamed of living. Mark was quite an outdoorsman, he loved to ride his ATV, camp, ski, hunt, fish, and hike. He was also an excellent cook. He was mechanically inclined and could build or fix about anything. Due to his declining health, the last several years of his life were focused on playing his guitar and singing, which he was very passionate about.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at his home (12054 US Highway 285, Conifer) – starting at 1PM. We ask anyone who would like to celebrate his life to attend and reminisce on the great man that he was.
