Dwain will always be a person that impacted me.
I served on the PCRC board with Dwain when he was the treasurer of the club. I also heard Dwain check into the WX net for many years. I loved hearing the talk about sour dough bread and learned so much about it.

During this time Dwain you and I had several phone conversations and shared many personal items.

I will miss you my friend. I was shocked to hear that your recovery was cut short. Only you will understand this, I hope that you and Padre have patched things up. As I told you before he wouldn’t be mad at you.

Rest in peace my friend. I miss you and your passing has affected me more than I realized it would. Perhaps you understand that.

I pray that Karma and the rest of your family is comforted by God in your passing. This is the start of a new adventure. You will not be forgotten.

    Brian/NØVSA

  4. Gary Dumbauld, NØERG says:

For years I enjoyed listening for Dwain on the radio every morning when he would turn in his weather from “Bailey Number Two” on the o Weather Net. He had been a baker for King Soopers earlier in his career, and as I spent 20 years with KS in the stores, we knew quite a few of the same folks. We used to talk about baking, and Dwain provided us with recipes from time to time; so now, several of the weather net folks (weather nutters) are devoted sourdough bread makers. We also used to look forward to seeing Dwain and Patsy at the Weather Net Picnics some years back. He sure will be missed.

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our dear neighbor Dwain, he always brought a smile to our face with a good story. Also just seeing him with his puppies and knowing how much he loved life no matter how hard it was for him he tried to make the best of it. We will miss him and hope all the memories he shared with his lovely Daughter Carma will heal her heart and the rest of his Family as well. We were lucky to have him as our Friend.
