(303) 674-7750 Helping During a Time of Loss

Christopher Lee Burns

June 16, 1977 - October 7, 2020

Christopher Lee Burns, 43, of Castle Rock, Colorado passed away on October 7, 2020 from heart disease and other underlying health conditions.

Chris did not want to leave this world, in fact, quite the opposite; he valued his job/work, loved family, enjoyed spending time with his friends, adored his cats, and cherished the outdoors.  Those who knew and loved Chris have lost a shining star in their lives.

Chris was working as a heavy equipment operator at Hudick Excavating, Inc. He went to Rangeview High School and was currently living in Castle Rock, Colorado. In his free time, Chris loved to camp, watch football, ride motorcycles, read history novels, and just staying at home with his cats – Nixon and Hendrix.

Chris will be missed everyday by his Mother (Debbie Burns), Grandmother Betty Parker, Aunt Teri Smith-Brown (Alan Brown), Aunt Susie Ozaluk (Mike Ozaluk), Uncle Michael Parker (Anne Parker),  Sharon Spotts, and cousins Melissa Smith, James Smith, Michael Smith, Ashley Uffelman, Rebecca Miloradovich, Max Ozaluk, Kayla McEntyre, Hannah Parker, Ryan Smith, Brandon Smith, Hunter Smith, and Kennedy Smith. Chris was preceded in death by his Grandfather, James H. Parker.

All of my love to Chris’s family. I’m still at a loss for words. A truly special soul has left this world. I wish we could’ve gotten our kitties together for play dates. See you on the other side, Burnsie.

Condolences to Deb Burns and family. No words is enough for this heatache.
    Your journey’s just begun.
Don’t think of him as gone away. His journeys just begun. Life holds so many facets, the earth is only one.Just think of him as resting, from the sirrws and the tears. In a place of warmth and comfort, where there is no days and years. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched. For nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much.

In my prayers 🙏 ❤ Selinda
